LADIES GOLF

Westfield is very proud of our Ladies Golf Association. The Westfield Ladies Golf Committee welcomes members of all ages and skill levels to join the Thursday League/ Saturday Ladies Day and encourages members to invite guests to participate in the weekly Tuesday Night Ladies Golf & Dine.

Ladies Thursday and Saturday Registration – All ladies are welcome to play, however if you do not have a Golf Canada handicap, you will not be eligible to enter the competitions. The Thursday / Saturday Morning Leagues sign up is done by email invitation from our Golf Genius software. The deadline to reply for a guaranteed tee time is 9:00pm Sunday for the Thursday draw and Noon Wednesday for the Saturday draw. If you are not receiving emails from Golf Genius to play in Ladies events and would like to be added to the group, please contact Joan Hurst at  joan.h.hurst@gmail.com

Thursday Ladies League – Every Thursday morning throughout the season, with reserved tee times from 9:00am to 10:30am. Registration must be confirmed by replying to the Golf Genius email invitation by 9:00pm Sunday to guarantee a tee time. Planned weekly events are listed on the Website Ladies Events Calendar and on the Bulletin Board in the Ladies Locker Room and on the pink fixture card.

• Tim Hortons Mystery Fun Days – Four days are scheduled as Mystery Fun Days. The format for each day varies from single, pair and team games. Prizes are distributed that day.
• Personal Best – Four days are designated as Personal Best days over the course of the golf season. Prizes are awarded based on the best 3 low net scores of the 4 rounds and for the best 3 low gross scores of the 4 rounds. Top two prizes for low net and top two prizes for low gross are awarded at season end.
• Hidden Partners Competition – Four days are assigned to Hidden Partners. Play your own game and at the end of the week’s play, golfers will be paired by random draw. Prizes are awarded at the end of the year for each week’s top gross and top net scorers.
• Team Competition –This is an opt in team competition played over 8 rounds on the days designated as “Personal Best” or Hidden Partners” competitions. (Those unable to play Thursday have the option to play on Saturday) The entry fee is $10. Three teams will be sorted by handicaps. Each week the two lowest gross scores and two lowest net scores will be recorded for each team. At the end of the season, the team with the lowest overall score will be the winner. All members of the team will share the pot paid out in pro shop gift certificates.
• Chip-in / Putting Pots – This is an opt in competition for putts and chip ins. The charge for season is $20. There will be weekly payouts for the designated days which we will announce and track through the season with payment to all winners at the end of the year.
• Ladies Match Play Competition – You will be notified early in the season with instructions to sign up for singles and doubles match play. Reply by the deadline to guarantee a position in the competition brackets. Saturday Ladies League– Tee times from 11:00am to 11:30am. Registration must be confirmed by Noon Wednesday to guarantee a tee time. Weekly events can be found on the ladies’ events calendar on the website, the bulletin board in the ladies’ locker room, and the pink fixture card located in the locker room.

Tuesday Ladies Night – Ladies Night is a great opportunity for both members and non-members to play a relaxing 9-hole round of golf that includes organized on-course games, prizes awarded each week.

Exclusive Ladies Night tee times are reserved from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm. Tee times can be booked by members up to 7 days in advance. Members may book a guest providing the guest is playing with them in the same group. Non-members can book 6 days in advance. Please call the Pro-Shop at 506-757-2907 to book a time.

Green fee for non-members is $25 (tax in). Cart fee is $14 (tax in) for members and non-members, and there is a $10 charge for the prize pool for both members and non-members. (No cart fee charge for members who have a cart package).

Prizes will be awarded as Westfield Pro Shop gift certificates. Weekly prize winner results will be emailed.
